Maintenance
Keep the machines running, and know what it costs.
Register what you maintain, let anyone report a fault, turn it into a work order with its labour, its parts and its downtime, and plan the preventive work by the calendar or the meter, so fewer jobs start with a breakdown.
What it does
Know every asset you keep running
Machines, vehicles, buildings, computers and tooling, each in its class and its place in the plant, with its manuals and certificates one click away. Each asset carries what its maintenance has cost so far.
Report a fault, and decide what it becomes
Anyone who sees something wrong raises a work request, the asset filled in by scanning its sticker. A planner accepts, defers or rejects it, and an accepted request becomes a work order.
Do the job, and record what it took
A work order holds the tasks, the technicians' hours, the parts issued and the time the asset stood still. Closing it adds its cost to the asset's lifetime total.
Plan the preventive work
A maintenance plan repeats an intervention every so many days, or every so many hours or kilometres read on the asset's meter. Its work orders are raised ahead of the due date, ready to release.
Never run out of a critical spare
A maintenance kit issues the parts a routine job takes in one go, from the work order's warehouse. A critical spare that falls under its minimum drafts its own purchase requisition.
Works with
Inventory
Every spare part issued to a job, or returned from it, is a stock movement, with its lot and its location.
Procurement
A critical spare under its minimum drafts a purchase requisition, which the buyer turns into an order.
Manufacturing
A job on an asset that is also a work center takes the line out of the scheduler's capacity until it is done.
