Foreign Trade
Every import, from the bank to the shelf.
Open one dossier for each purchase from abroad and keep all of it there: the programme it falls under, the bank's domiciliation, the goods from departure to customs clearance, the containers before the shipping line charges for them, and what the goods really cost once every invoice is in.
What it does
Keep every import programme
Each programme the ministry put its visa on, with its half-year, its last day, its maximum amount and the tariff sub-headings it allows. The dossiers filed under it are listed on it, and the Foreign trade home shows the ones still in force.
One dossier per import
The foreign supplier, the currency, the Incoterm, how the goods travel and between which places, and the bank's domiciliation, or why the purchase needs none. The dossier gathers its purchase orders and follows the goods: shipped, arrived, customs cleared, closed.
Return the containers in time
List each container of a dossier by its number. The day its free days end is worked out for you, and the containers whose free time is running out are on the Foreign trade home before the shipping line starts charging.
Record the customs declaration
Type the declaration your customs broker filed, article by article, as customs printed it. Its duties go onto the dossier's costs, and the import taxes you deduct are listed month by month.
Know what the goods really cost
Freight, insurance, the forwarder, the port, customs and the bank are each recorded in their own currency and converted to dinars. Once the figures are final, posting the landed cost puts the real cost into your stock.
